The Global Denim Project is an attempt to persuade as many academics as possible to consider studying denim over the next five years.

Various projects have been started all over the world including denim, sexuality and the body in Italy,denim and the movement of the body in China, Japan and Korea and ethical trade in Turkey and Brazil. This is a global project and provide a meeting place for academic research in denim.
